Last April 30, 2026, Four MSC’s were ordained to the order of Presbyters by the Archbishop of Cebu – His Most Rev. Albert UY, DD. The ordination was held at Nuestra Señora De Regla Parish National Shrine. In the photos, from left to right, the newly-ordained MSC’s were Rev. Fr. Primitivo Danao, Jr., MSC, Rev. Fr. John Erwin Reyes, MSC, Rev. Fr. Diomuel Carpenteros, MSC, and Rev. Fr. Franz Kim Pelare, MSC.
During this novena, in December 1854, we promised the Blessed Virgin that if she heard our prayer, we would take the title, Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and that we would strive to carry out fully the beautiful and profound meaning of this title. (Jules Chevalier, 1862)
