The member of The Chevalier Family gathered at St Joseph’s Parish, Passo, Ambon, Indonesia on April 18, 2026. The main agenda was a retreat led by Celcius Mayabubun MSC on the theme “Rooted in the Heart of Jesus and bearing fruit” participants were invinted to reflect on a life rooted in Christ, united with the Heart of Jesus, and bearing fruit through prayer and solidarity with others.
During this novena, in December 1854, we promised the Blessed Virgin that if she heard our prayer, we would take the title, Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and that we would strive to carry out fully the beautiful and profound meaning of this title. (Jules Chevalier, 1862)
