150th Anniversary of the MSC Mission in Watertown, USA

The Parish of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Watertown, New York, USA, celebrated the 150th anniversary of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC) mission (1876–2026). Guided by the theme, “Mission: To Be on Earth the Heart of God,” the celebration began with a solemn Eucharist presided over by Bishop Terry LaValley and concelebrated by Superior General Fr. Abzalon Alvarado, MSC, Provincial Superior Fr. Michael Miller, MSC, and fellow priests. Four MSC brothers were also present at the celebration of the 150 years: Brothers Bernard Mongeau, Joachim Vetenge, Hung Nguyen, and Warren Perrotto.
The celebration continued with a thanksgiving reception, bringing together parishioners, confreres, and guests to give thanks for 150 years of faithful missionary witness and service.
