Fr. Willy Méndez was elected Provincial Superior of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in Spain.

We ask the Lord and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart to continue to enlighten and accompany Fr. Willy with their loving presence and to help him continue to bring God’s love to the whole Province of Spain.

Thank you, Willy, for accepting and for continuing to be a witness of availability for this challenging mission.

During this novena, in December 1854, we promised the Blessed Virgin that if she heard our prayer, we would take the title, Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and that we would strive to carry out fully the beautiful and profound meaning of this title. (Jules Chevalier, 1862)
