MSC General Conference 2025. 8th Day

After taking a day off yesterday to visit the Parish of Campinas, the General Conference continued today (22/09/25) with a focus on financial matters. Raul Ruiz Mena (Central America-Mexico Province) opened the session with a briefly introduction and several practical announcements. Participants were invited to review the 2023 General Chapter recommendations on finance, followed by information on the Heart of Life programme by Chris Chaplin MSC. After the coffee break, Darwin Thatheus MSC (Director of GDO) presented online on the Global Development Office (GDO). In the afternoon, Mass was presided over by Paco Blanco MSC (Province of Spain) to commemorate the MSC confreres who have passed away. Following this, the conference continued with a financial report and budgeting presentation by Benny Laisina MSC and Michael Huber MSC (Province of Southern Germany-Austria).
