MSC General Conference 2025. 3rd Day

Today, 17 September 2025, was dedicated entirely to the Safeguarding Ministry, facilitated by Tina Campbell from the Congregation’s Safeguarding Office. The session began with an in-depth discussion on the reality of Safeguarding policy in each entity, followed by the update information from the Safeguarding Office in Rome and clarification of terms in the safeguarding policy. Important topics regarding audits were also discussed. After lunch, the session continued with a discussion on Artificial Intelligence and online abuse in the context of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, followed by group discussions on new issues and concrete action prototypes for communities or entities. Today’s Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Mesias Neyra MSC from the Andean Union, Peru.
