Everywhere: Chrism Mass

On April 16, 2025, in the Cathedral of Saint Catherine of Siena in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the Most Rev. Bishop Alfred A. Schlert presided over the Annual Chrism Mass. During the Mass, the Jubilee Mass for the priests was held, and the anniversaries of their ordinations were acknowledged. Frs. E. Michael Camilli, MSC, who managed to attend the celebration, is commemorating his 65th year as a priest, having been ordained on July 3, 1960. There was also a list of deceased clergy, noting Fr. Joe Glexiner, who passed away on March 1, 2024. The Oil of the Sick, the Oil of Catechumens, and the Oil of Chrism are blessed, with the Bishop consecrating only the latter. Frs.
