{"id":863,"date":"2021-11-30T14:58:38","date_gmt":"2021-11-30T14:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ametur-msc.org\/website\/?p=863"},"modified":"2021-12-06T19:06:17","modified_gmt":"2021-12-06T19:06:17","slug":"laudato-si-action-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ametur-msc.org\/website\/laudato-si-action-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"Laudato Si, Action Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We, <strong>MISSIONARIES OF THE SACRED HEART<\/strong>, publicly commit to join the worldwide Catholic community in responding to Pope Francis\u2019 appeal to participate in a seven-year journey toward sustainability and integral ecology by developing a Laudato Si\u2019 Action Platform.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This commitment marks our willingness:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To take up the \u201curgent appeal\u201d of <em>Laudato Si\u2019<\/em> to listen and respond to the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor by making it a community priority;<\/li>\n<li>To further our ongoing ecological conversion by bringing our members into a greater understanding of their socio-ecological vocation within the spirit of our charism;<\/li>\n<li>To integrate each of the seven <em>Laudato Si&#8217; <\/em>goals into our life and apostolates by developing a systematic process to transition to an integral ecology;<\/li>\n<li>To take bold concrete actions in the spirit of <em>Laudato Si&#8217;<\/em> to address the multiple crises afflicting our common home \u2013 the planet and its people.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>To practice nonviolence, as we reconcile and heal the pain in the creation and sow hope for peace.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This commitment is made in faith, hope, and love, knowing that we are participating in God\u2019s work of transformation, \u201cfor we know that things can change\u201d (LS 13).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>&nbsp;Rev.
