Known for his charismatic charisma and miraculous deeds, Tardif would hold mass healing services on the 8th of every month, from which the film takes its title. Today, his legacy lives on as the Holy See moves forward with his beatification process following his declaration as a Servant of God.<\/p>\n

In this way, it is also possible to overcome one\u2019s own inner closed-offness and open up to others, to love and to healing.<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s central narrative revolves around the life of Yira Sandoval, a young and popular \u2018influencer\u2019 who is constantly seeking fame on social media. Having drifted away from her faith and facing a strained family situation, her world is turned upside down by her younger sister\u2019s incurable illness. In the midst of her anguish, Yira discovers Fr Emiliano Tardif.<\/p>\n

The film was released in Spain, coincidentally, on 8 May, as if it were a call to the mass healing celebrations held by Fr Emiliano Tardif on the 8th of each month.<\/p>\n
